The Fascination of Whale Tails

Men seem to be genetically attracted by whale tails. And I mean all kinds of whale tails. Check out the Urban Dictionary for definitions.

Today I saw a fine example of juvenile whale tail attraction in the Zoo of Duisburg, Germany:

When boys are getting a little older, their focus changes slightly, but doesn’t turn away from whale tails:

Of course, there is a variant for the rich kids:

Boys of all ages, of course, like these whale tails:

They like it so much, that there are special web sites to accommodate the demand, for example whale-tail.com or (isn’t this a very clever title) the Eurovision Thong Contest.

As I said, this is genetics. It’s all related to the Y chromosome. After all, isn’t the Y the most genuine rendition of a whale tail?

Wirklich sehr interessant, woran man (Mann in diesem Fall) bei einer Delphinenschau denken muss ;-)
